Do the drs know about it?
I'd be sure that they know just in case it's something they need to follow up on.

Well the doctor that took my urine knows, haha. She took the sample and sent it off somewhere and then I had another sample taken this week.

It's quite bizarre, I've never had any problems in that region. The only thing I have remotely close is a cyst on my liver (benign and very small). I have no kidney pain, no pain during urination and still no frequency changes. I have color changes (dark/light) but I drink a lot of coffee and a lot of water so I naturally assumed it's one causing it's corresponding color (orange for coffee, very clear for water!).

I really haven't thought too much of it as it's not bothering me. Short of it tickling my curiosity bone. I suppose within time I'll know! :D I loathe waiting on tests. This sounds weird, but I love getting results and then comparing them to old results. I don't know why I do that, but it's fun for me.

I need a hobby.

Ellie, you've certainly had more than your fair share of illness this year. I'm sorry you're having all these extra health problems now and I hope you're feeling better very soon. You take care of yourself there.

Doctor called yesterday, he said my urine was fine. There must have been an error in the dip stick thing at the office or something. He only got back my cbc and other simpler tests. Most were OK short of borderline anemia which is normal for me. He did say my blood sugar was 150  and was totally baffled (I'm 30 years old, 5'3 and 106 pounds). My blood sugar tends to bounce as it pleases. I've been checked for everything under the sun regarding it and nothings ever come of it. Oh well!

From what I gathered, they don't treat it (except with pills to control symptoms like pain or whatever). I'm kind of confused though, he said mine was old (6mos to 6 years - I guess a better estimate is out of the question, lol) - but what I found online it says it goes away. I think I might carry something or though, I read you're immune once you have it, but then I read it can relapse or something.

I almost think they don't know much about it. Hehe.

I seem to be prone to everything weird. :(

I just want the pain to be fixed, I really have put everything else on the back burner and hope they can fix whatever it is thats making me feel so horrible. I'm averaging about 5 showers a day. The water beating on my body actually feels quite pleasant. I loathe my bill coming in. :D

Ellie-
Hope you feel better soon, its no good to feel crappy.

As for the blood in the urine, I've had that lately actually got a couple of clots and the doc didn't know what to think about it, just that it happens sometimes. So she's sending me to a urologist at the end of the month. No signs of urinary tract infection, but small crystals in my urine (weird) and it hurts to pee. Oh yea and protein in the urine (early diabetic), lucky me.

Good luck on your tests!
