This is such an old thread but thought maybe someone want to discuss this now. We're talking about breast calcifications on another group and I had 2 mammograms in my early 50's and calcifications showed up. At that time in my life I was taking supplemental calcium and put the blame there. Lots of info out there on this issue.

I went on to do more searching and found how necessary magnesium is for bone health, more so than calcium. So I stopped most calcium supps and ate some dairy products but bumped up magnesium.

That was about 30 yrs ago and never had another mammogram and have my regime for breast health and to my knowledge my breasts are just fine at almost 82. I think those mammograms are barbaric anyway. Make comments if this hits home.
