Thank you very much for the help Jo. I had a look at the symptoms and basically all of them seem to match up. No, I can't get to the store right now because my parents have the vehicles. The pain seems to only be at night and in the early morning because I am feeling perfectly fine right now. If the pain occurs again I will tell my mom but I am definitly thinking that I have a UTI right now.

Have you been tested for a bladder infection yet?
If those AZO tablets don't work, another way to go would be to look into taking Prelief tablets to change the acidity of your urine. Stop drinking the Cranberry and stick to water only. You should be able to get the Prelief tablets at most Drug Stores. Also, there are two other things (uncommon) that you might look into down the road. They are called Intersitial Cystitis and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. These things are not very common at all. However, I think that having a bladder infection is by far, the most common situation. And by the way, I have had tests come out negative and cultures come out positive. I needed the antibiotics! If I didn't have the culture, I would NOT have known until things got MUCH worse.Untreated bladder infections can lead to a kidney infection and this can get serious. Don't let this pain continue. Almost always, the test simply requires urinating in a cup. I'll give you a little hint. If you are afraid of seeing a urologist...then go to a family doctor or GP. |
