I can't use estrogen, and I learned tons on hystersisiters.com and have been using Bio identical hormones and it is great! it is a compound my drug store makes and I would lose it without having it....it is a cream applied to my inner arms 2 x a day!

Koala,

You CAN alternate but I would let the doc know or at least talk to him or her about it. I did that as well for awhile. There is less if anything absorbed systemically from the Vagifem...it is and stays more local. My mother, come to think of it was using Vagifem prior to her prolapse surgery and it seemed to work great for her. But AFTER the surgery they wanted her on the cream...she uses Estrace.

Junie,

I LOVE the Hystersisters website and have learned alot from them through years. But the compounded hormones did not work for me. Glad they are working for you though. I did best with the Combipatch at FIRST; my RE had me use that to dry up any residual endo. But then I was switched to the Vivelle dot. But I did try different things; Estrasorb, Estragel, etc. The patch just seemed to sit the best with me and probably because it was a slow and consistent release. But you know how it goes...everyone again, is sooo different.
