Confused Cervical Changes

I am new here, but I'm just kinda worried bout a couple of things. I am 26 with two children. Had an annual pap . Provider called today and said needed to schedule coloposcopy in morning and that results showed high grade cells and that some were atypical. What does this mean? I have had an abnormal pap before when I was about 20, but then were all normal after that. I am really worried. Does anybody know or had a similiar issue? Thanks

I'm not sure about it so I did a google for you- "colposcopy"
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c...oscopy&spell=1

My sister had abnormal paps and a cone biopsy yrs ago and all is fine now - so just get it checked and follow up if needed.

I can just say the same as Jo...my baby sis also had this happen but she was fine and she keeps all her follow up appointments to be safe.

Good Luck.
