Just as an FYI for those who require this procedure...
The 'after' cramping for me, far less than with the Colposcopy. They did a freezing needle, only felt like a pinch. The freaky part was they had me on a heart monitor and said, "You may feel your heart begin to race". It didn't thankfully. I had 2 great nurses, and my gyno Dr. is a very calm and comforting soul, so I felt at ease for the entire procedure. Now I'm seeing orange-colored stuff being 'disposed' of, but this is mentioned on the sheet (orange/brown I guess). Oh yeah, I also chewed gum which seemed to help (the nurse said I may be able to taste the freezing stuff). Now I go back in 4 months for a repeat colposcopy. Unfortunately!
