Every woman is different....

I have a friend that a week before her cycle you want to stay out of her way... she can get down right mean.

I know other women that the day of....moodiness sets in and stays all week.

I also know of others that have no PMS what so ever....

So normal is all in perception...

You are lucky! I think my husband says there is one good week every month. I get crabby, hungry and irritable before hand, but i have always had bad periods. I think it depends on the person.

My PMS is always worst on the first day and gets better from there. I get mostly physical symptoms: cramps, bloating, gas - which of course lead to not being real happy, but I don't get mood swings very often. It is definitely something that is different from person to person.

I used to get tearful, edgy, etc. about a week before. ON the day I started it all stopped. I, too, think it depends on the person. Of course I had a hysterectomy at around age 47 so I no longer PMS at all. But I remember my RE saying way back when to try to manage it with a B Complex Vitamin. That did help to take the edge off.

Nah, not strange. I have what my hubby and I jokingly call "DMS" since it's during. The only thing I have prior is the desire to pig out the day before it starts, especially on chocolate.
