I think this is a great idea! I personally use Ponds moisturizer and have for years. Call it old school, thanks Grandma! I also use Ponds cold cream to take off my makeup. I used to use Sea Breeze and loved loved loved it! They still have the toner but I found Phisoderm to be just as good without the sting.

I also posted (thanks to Cindy for letting me know) a thread on daily self breast exams. Check it out if you get a chance!

Sandy~ we keep saying we must be sistahs, cuz I have used Ponds' cold cream to take my makeup off too! AYUP~ from my Granny too! It's so inexpensive and I keep a jar in the RV and one in the house. But, have been using the Vit E cream too, and it works great~plus very moisturizing. Buh Bye MKay moisturizer and makeup remover. *although I do use some MK makeup*

I ordered Youthology from an infomercial and it is amazing, but a little pricey. You use just one drop in the under eye area and POOF the puffiness and lines simply disappear. They are back the next day, but if your'e overtired and want to look less haggard, as I call it, it's great esp for special ocassions. I used it sparingly, but they try to tie you into monthly deliveries, so I got a double month and cancelled. I'm going to try and find something that I don't have to order, but it worked wonderful.

Do you use the same olive oil that's used in cooking? Does it have to be Extra Virgin Olive Oil? I have a small bottle of it but never thought to use it on my skin. I'll have to try it!

Yup. I have a big bottle of EVOO and I put a little bit in a container to use in the bathroom. DD18 started using it and loves it as, surprisingly, it helped her acne.

It has so many added benefits like acting as an anti-inflammatory, loaded with vitamins (vitamins A, B-1, B-2, C, D, E and K and in iron) which can be absorbed through your skin, and lots of Omega's.

I am sure you can do a google search to find out more info on the benefits of olive oil and uses for it. I learned about using it on some thrift/money saving site and decided to give it a try. It worked and worked well!

Good tip for face for smooth soft skin, and young looking skin...

shhh secret, does not cost a thing. water yes water, I have for years only rinsed my face well in shower, scrubbing it a bit with hands..

that is it!! I am only 39 about to turn 40, but I have so many people last few years ask me what I use for moisturizers or face cream....I do not use any...once in a while like now when dry out, I might put a bit of baby lotion on face after shower.

see inexpensive, or maybe I have lucky skin genes so far!! hugss and glad I found this thread, hugsss, sarah

Sarah, you did get the lucky skin genes. I got the dry skin gene so moisturizing daily is a must for me.
