I was offered that vaccination at my last ob/gyn appointment--I declined because I'm not sexually active, never have been, and don't plan to be.
However, I'm not entirely sure whether "the immunity could wear off" is a bad reason for not vaccinating. Immunity on other vaccines wears off, and we simply give people booster shots--notably, tetanus every ten years. |
