Default Friday Roll Call!

Morning all!
Well its going to pour to beat the band the next couple of days so definitely no racing this weekend. Good thing too my muscles are spasming a little too much. Might be the weather or walking a little too much too fast. Not sure yet. Anywho taking the day off of the walking just in case.
Todd is home today so this may be my only time to be online. So have a great day everyone!

Hi Wendy,

It is raining by me also but just misting. I feel pretty good physically for a change, well better than the moderate to severe pain. I am even feeling better emotionally because my cousin is in town and will be coming over soon.

Well this evening we are planning to go to another art walk this time out of town. It is also a pot luck so we have to bring something to contribute to the meal...hubby is fixing the dish..said something about sausage.
We saw Marsh Ball sing last night at the "Rhythems on the river", an outdoor music concert.
What fun!
She is from New Orleans and is a jazzy/rag time/bluesy singer....we even danced alittle bit....or should I say we tried to dance...lol.
For dinner we had packed a popeyes chicken dinner picnic and sat in our folding chairs....
When we got home, I looked up the calories in the chicken ....I never knew that it was so fattening!!!!...over 1000 calories for just the chicken I ate.
Plus I had red beans and rice and a biscuit...well I was stuffed.
It will be a long time before I want to eat there again!
But it was so good!
anyway...
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend,
wendy take care of yourself!

Default Hello

Good morning Neuro Talk Weight Loss Support Group friends. Whew. That was a mouthful.

I'm sorry it is raining where you are at. It is beautiful here in Nevada. Thank goodness because we having some work done at the house. They just finished the new front door and it looks so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now they are removing the sliding glass doors in our master bedroom and replacing them with a window. I sure hope they get that done today 'cause I don't want a big hole in my house tonight! These are all my husband's ideas. You'd think the man would just retire and leave well enough alone. But Noooooooooooo. I'm still dealing with dust from the tile job that was done while I was in Minnesota. Geez. Men. But I love him.

I hope everyone is feeling better today. I am so sleepy. I think I will try to rest today. Stay out of the way so the guys can work.

Later Gators,
Nan

Hi all,

I am having a great weekend so far. My cousin from NJ came by and took me across town to get my camera. Then we went shopping. Oh, I ran into a guy I met in my local resturant and he hugged me and asked me when we are getting married. Of course he's only kidding cause he's old enough to be my dad but still it's nice when people are glad to see ya. I plan to go see a couple of friends this weekend.

Hi everyone, sounds like a good day around here. I have been driving kids here and there. Other than that I have been trying to get ahead of all the papers that are stacking up.

I had such a great day with my sister yesterday. We went to a place called the District and walked around the shops. I didn't find anything to buy as all the shops were for skinny perfect people and I guarantee you I am not skinny or perfect. It was still a nice day then we went and saw my nieces new condo and then back to my sisters where her hubby fixed us a steak dinner. I love sisters, they are the best!!

So hubby is working late and the kids are all of doing their own thing. So I am having a peaceful night at home.

I will see ya'all later on...Sue
