Default texas bound

i need to get ready now
to tip over a cow
texas trip looms near
redneck dreams appear

the weather should be good
for tromping through their "woods"
my boots are in the wait
so i wont become snake bait

bbqs and hospitality
fill my glass with more sweet tea
blending old friends with the new
make a texas pd stew

i must not say "y'all"
they dont like that at all
"howdy" seems okay
if said the yanky way.

respect them, yes i do
their hearts are big and true
offering all they can
to make my stay there grand

im beginning now to know
the importance of the alamo
you guys deserve the pride
thanks for the texas ride

i will be in dallas area oct 16-24... contact me via email if you would like to meet. itinary is pretty full, but we can party texas style...
