I think you guys are going to get it worse than we did..
Rick and I just got out as we've been iced in for the past 36 hours and the main roads are pretty clear here. The sand trucks and plows are out in force. South of us got it much worse than we did as there are many who are without power.
Take care an stay warm down there!!!!!!!

We have had snow on the beaches in Oregon - and freezing temps there- which is very rare.

here's a link to some of the snowy Oregon beach photos that I found online-

Lordy it's cold here. Thank goodness it wasn't as bad as predicted.

I guess we've just been extra lucky, 'cause it has been absolutely beautiful here. Today was breezy and mid-seventies, with plenty of sun. I took my little girl out for a drive, and it was warm enough to have the windows down. I bet we're gonna pay for it soon, though. Next week we'll probably have all the yucky stuff that y'all are getting now.

Great photo... poor tree.

I was just watching the morning news here and they were showing footage of a number of different states. Keep safe and warm as possible. Hope you get some relief in a couple of days.

I love all the rain. It will sure put a dent in all this drought! I just took the trash cans out and it's coming down a little right now. The trees are covered in ice and the wind is blowing them so they sound very pretty. Now if I lived in an old neighborhood with big trees...I'd be searching for the candles.
