my pain wakes me
by the thumping of
my body parts
hips knees ankle even
feet
my fingers mummified
in pain
my heart bleeds for my broken
children
it pains me so
she is home with baby
could not stay away
and had no where to go
how can i turn my back on my child
or grandchild

it comes with so much suffering
it hurts so badly
