I get shivering rarely but in my case it
Is due to a GI spasm, not really cold.

It is similar to cold shivers only feels
" deeper".

I call mine "rigors". If you Google this
You will find that rigors are more serious
Than shivers. I use mine as a sign to
Take my emergency med for GI spasms before
They become ultra serious and require hospitalization
As happened to me long ago.
