I made my own kefir for quite awhile as a probiotic source. I really enjoyed it, but I was adding a lot of sugar to it to make it palatable. (My favorite thing was a scoop of chocolate SlimFast powder.)
When I started watching my sugar consumption, I gave it up, but I do miss it.
