Antibiotics also upset the GI flora, so using a good probiotic and/or yogurt/kefir may help. Some people may need a Candida cleanse (NOW makes a good one). If you are eating sugar and lots of carbs, you have to stop this while doing a Candida cleanse as Candida grows on sugars.

I took amoxicillin for a few days because I had some left over and then after the root canal, the dentist gave me Clindamycin. I was actually on low carbs during that time and months before. Ever since, I went back to high carbs.
