This happened with methylfolate, which Merck holds the patent for making the raw material. At one point they decided RX only and stopped supplying OTC packagers. It was a huge flop and several years later, they started selling to OTC firms again.
Solgar was the first to receive the new OTC batch, but today there are other places making it again.

I use this and many others here do now and in the past...
Jarrow was one of the first makers to offer methylcobalamin many years ago. They are a good deal and quality outfit.
You could take this and only need then a separate methylB12, and save some money.

You are going to have trouble finding pure items with no fillers.
Some fillers are added so the ingredients do not clump in the machines.
