Hi Alison,

My daughter is 14 and has had RSD for 6 years. She does get kinda wobbly too and has needed to have me with her more than she would like! She always uses a shower chair in the shower and we have put bars up so she can hold on while hopping. She has also learned to get up slowly and take things easy when she is feeling a bit dizzy. She hasn't had to at home, but at the therapy pool, she uses a walker for more stability. Maybe instead of crutches, you could try that so you can go in the bathroom and around the house a little more grounded. Just a thought.

Our family sure knows what your family is going through and I am so glad you have found this site. It is very helpful and beneficial. I hope your parents read the posts and look for answers here too. I know I couldn't get through all of this without these people.

Let us know how you are doing,
Katherine
