We also talked about how the numbness has not fully gone away in my face, tongue, neck and arm. I have read many times that after a "flare" you may not get back to where you were - the sx may not fully go away??
I feel like I am being such a baby with the few sx that I do have.... I think I am hitting the "why me" stage or the change of life that woman go through?
I wish I could close my eyes - open them and my life be changed.... I would be happy, respected, loved, and stress free. I know it is only a dream and won't happen but today that is how I feel.

My symptoms sometimes hang on for awhile Char. At times it has been literally for months on end. But that was without steroids.
I also had a horrid taste left in my mouth the two times I had steroid treatments. They revved me up to 200 rpm and I lost weight on them.
You are
more loved and respected than you realize Sweetie! Now turn that frown upside down!

I thought I would be like that forever but it always got back to close enough to normal to live with, or I adjusted. You DO learn to live with what happens and you ADAPT. It takes trial and error to find what works for you.

AMEN RW!! Char, what RW says is true.
I have had symptoms affecting almost every part of my body at one time or another. Some of them were quite disturbing too!

Most of them are shelved for the time being.

It does take awhile to adjust. Heck, I'm still trying to adapt to all the MS has thrown my way! And it has been eight years since my first big attack!
Char, you can always come here to share what you're going through.
