It may be HPV, which starts as a virus
Hi,
My daughter has that also. Human papillomavirus (HPV) left unchecked can turn into cervical cancer.
Basically, they find an abnormal cell or cells on the cervix, then test for HPV.
I'm not sure what the treatment is once it's been discovered, because my daughter is still in the "discovery" stages herself. However, the doctors don't seem too concerned, it is easily treatable from my understanding.
