I am SOOOOooooooo glad that this is now clarified cuz I was definitely gonna answer something ELSE (after I stopped cracking up). ROFL
I WAS going to say something like, "you were supposed to swallow, not BITE" but I restrained myself!
My grandmother had a tonsillectomy years and years ago when they still weren't terribly common. After the surgery, she opened her mouth to see what the doc had removed (her tonsils had been swollen and had been visible). Turns out that she was missing more than her tonsils! The doc had cut off her uvula too! EVERY doc she went to commented on that. It was kinda funny to hear them talking about a 94 year old's missing uvula.
I had oral thrush once. Got it from a lovely inhaled medication I took and I'd thoroughly cleansed my mouth out after it. OUch, OUCH! That stuff sucks big time.
Hang in there Dimpled (and White Speckled) One.

Hopefully you'll be free of it in a little while. At least it isn't Hoof and Mouth disease. It COULD be worse! You'd have to see a vet!
