Heat is one of my greatest enemies.....I have profuse facial and scalp sweating. It is so embarassing!

My neurosurgeon suggested a surgery to sever the sympathetic nerve that triggers the sweating. They go in with a scope via the armpits and sever the nerve at the thoracic spine.

I just don't know if the insurance company would deny the request as cosmetic and not medically necessary....
