Something isn't quite right. Stellate blocks are done always at the same level, anteriorly at about the C7 level on the symptomatic side. If they are moving around to different neurological levels, that sounds more like a selective nerve root block. Postitioning on the table for all while under anesthesia, could aggravate a pre-existing previously asymptomatic disc hernia. Very doubtfull that a block would cause it though.

Unfortunately, your body is allowed to have as many (different) problems as it wants!
