I've explained to them that I am on a mission to save as much money as I can. My LTD will not last forever. Do they want to support me when it runs out and I'm left with not enough to cover my monthly expenses? I think not. And I don't want that either! 
This year I'm not going to be so quick to jump to the rescue of everyone else. Maybe I need to be rescued sometimes.  |
I used to do that too, step in and try to help. but have been standing back and letting them figure things out lately.
I said something to my 20 y/o dd to the effect: I think I gave you the false impression that you NEED me. You're really quite capable, look at you.
It's you're brother we're not too sure about!
