Wisest Elder Ever

I'm a mother hen...always have been so it's hard for me not to just automatically say "let me do it" or "here, I'll help you".
I have two grown sons. Two men. I am a 49 year old woman with MS. Is this balanced? I don't think so. But.....I've created my own monster and I cannot expect everyone to be on board with my changes immediately. It's gonna take some time but I've got nothing better to do! I have the time! I've explained to them that I am on a mission to save as much money as I can. My LTD will not last forever. Do they want to support me when it runs out and I'm left with not enough to cover my monthly expenses? I think not. And I don't want that either!  This year I'm not going to be so quick to jump to the rescue of everyone else. Maybe I need to be rescued sometimes.
