During my (early) days of rsd, before I got some real meds, I explained rsd pain like this, quickly;
Your bone marrow feels as though it's on fire,
your skin feels as though it's in a blast freezer.

I take methadone, (Have for almost 20 years), and it controls that deep bone burning pain very well.

I'm not a doctor, you need your doctor to verify what is causing the pain, and as is usual with rsd, rule other things out.
Then, carry on with medication.

Wish you the best!
PM me if you wish..
