So sorry to hear that you've got more medical problems to deal with!!

I looked into a pain pump before my SCS's, but the dr. who does the pain pump thought the SCS's would work better and he said he had had a lot of problems with ins. companies reimbursing for the medication that needs to be kept up in the pain pump. In the end, because he is such a highly respected pain mgmt. dr. in this area, I went with another pain mgmt. dr. who he recommded and had the SCS's implant a little over a year ago.

I'm glad I went with the SCS's but I think you'll find that there are folks who have had success with pain pumps. Keep in mind that SCS's are strictly for nerve related pain, so maybe that's why others find the pain pumps more beneficial.
