This, although I could watch TV without pain, or look at the computer without pain. I had 80% vision loss in the left eye, and double vision in both (I deal with double vision as a symptom aside on a regular basis).

My pain with my O.N. attack was only when I moved my eye left to right. Then I'd get a sharp pain, though as Mariel said, nothing as severe as the other nerve pains I have either. More of an 'ouchie' after looking left or right with that eye.

Behind the scenes I had constant itchy/dry eye, found myself rubbing my eye so much (yeah I know better, couldn't help myself!), and there was otherwise a dull pain/feeling of discomfort at all times while it was flared up.
