I don't know if this is relevant, but I also have petechial hemorrhage on my back and now recently on my shoulders, which i had associated with obesity. Now i am beginning to wonder if it is not due to some other condition.
Any suggestions for further research would be welcomed.

Hi, No i dont. Thats good idea. Silly of me not to do that. Yes it could be reflective of arterial problems. Im due to see a vascular specialist. These doctors just pass me around one to other pain clinic-oncology rheumo-neuro-vascular-dermatologist.
Also getting tiny tiny petechia like freckles appearing on legs(swollen). That can be due to vascular insufficiency (i was informed on here). Think we both ought to see a vascular specialist ASAP. Wouldnt think obesity is causing petechial hemorrhage. Lets keep in touch and let each other know.
Stay strong
