Most I've ever been prescribed by a neuro was Tylenol with codeine. Failed a reflex test. Had a pulled muscle or perhaps popped my disc in my back.

Right now, I am home remedying a pinched nerve, pulled back muscle, with a combination of Alleve and Tylenol(the otc kind). I've had numbness and muscle spasming all up and down my right arm. Pulled it, hoisting my son up to the top bunk.

So far, it's working.
