Confused water blisters?

i have a rash on my face and was prescribed a cream.. but about a week after i have all these little bumps and some are white, kinda like a zit( but its not a zit) it also started to peel. but its itchy and dry and REALLY red all over. i cant see a doctor till Christmas eve so does any one have some ideas to help it? should i moisturize it?
