![]() Please! pass this on to promote Project A.L.S. awareness to ALS 'Jenifer', a movie which will air on Lifetime network this coming Sunday. (January 21st 2007.) It is the true story of Jenifer Estess, a Manhattan theater producer, who was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, when she was only 35 years old. In response, Jenifer, along with her sisters Valerie and Meredith, created Project ALS www.projectals.org which is responsible for funding and encouraging much of the recent progress made in the search for treatments for the fatal disease. Jenifer Estess had no idea how drastically life can change in a single moment until she was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease). Laura San Giacomo and Jane Kaczmarek star in this emotional tale, based on a true story, of three sister's undying strength.
