Thumbs down I swear, I have OCD!!!!!!

I can't quit thinking, "My life is half, over!!" I mean, it's every second!!!
I started obsessing over this when I turned 41. (I'm 45, now.) I can't quit
obsessing about, not being here, anymore!!! What do I do?!?

Phyllis, heck, I have tried to post information for you for so many months and years and years in fact. I do my best to give you good info. Not complicated. Just my take on what you're asking. I don't know how to help you sometimes because I'm not sure you read the info. that people here give you. If there is some way of making that easier than please let us know. You know we're here to support you, but we do worry about you.

OCD means Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Very basically that means that one has thoughts over and over and then one must follow though on certain actions. The thought [obsession ] needs be be fulfilled by the [compulsion] action.

Obsession is the thought.

Compulsion
is the action. Usually repetative behaviours or actions

Disorder means it's interfering with your life.
