I see this as a major issue here, Anxiety, I one panic attack back in I think 2005 and it was a time when my daughter was having issues, it really affected me. That's how I figure it.
Since then I went to work on "calmers" for my body and worked with these 3: Gaba, with time made me too groggy. L Theanine, didn't seem to do much, so stopped trying with it. Inositol, from B family, is my best, I probably take 500-1000 mg daily and for sleep too, Inositol is part of my sleep combo. |

Caroline2 The article says there are 2 kinds of b6, the active and inactive, one can cause neuropathy if dosed too high. Are you careful to take the active one, or does it matter to you? Also, I posted elsewhere about isonitol(spelling) that you have recommended along with grape seed extract and sphingolin which I am now taking for leg and feet numbness. I have read to be careful of isonitol causing kidney stones. Should I worry?

Jwillis: Ok on this the P5P form of B6 is the activated and more effective..a little more costly but better. I was take P5P for a while early on but the company I was buying from was out of stock and so I bought plain B6 which is inactive. I will buy the P5P when I'm out of my B6..... So as I see it, best to search for P5P wen buying B6. I take 50 mg nightly.
On the Inosine, I've never had issues and I would take it for a few months and then go off for a while and get back on....I have not been taking it for some time as I don't have the burn/tngle issues anymore |

Some other P5P products add magnesium and that takes way from the B6 content. Not so with BlueB.. |

Hi Jwillis22, welcome to NeuroTalk.
Please be aware that some of these supplements suggested around the place can actually interfere with other psychotrophic medications that people may be prescribed by their doctors. It's been a long time now since I took it but I think that Inositol actually helps to reduce kidney stones but it's been a while so I might be wrong. I (and other family members) took Inositol for years. Tubs and tubs of it. Unfortunately it wasn't at all helpful for me. Everyone is different. I also would look into Sphingolin for whatever reason you are taking that. I personally would never take a supplement like Sphingolin that is made from the myelin sheath of cows, but each to their own. |

Jwillis: Come to think of it when I was taking Sphingolin and Inosine for the horrible burn/tingle issues back in time frame of 2012 area, I took both these at the same time for a while...then eventually only Inosine..... Now I take none of them, the bun/tingle is gone, but my whole leg is numb, the nerve damage from the surgery hip replacement.
On Inositol, I take it every night in my sleep combo. You know Inosine and Inositol are 2 different supplements. Every one is unique and needs to work with this stuff and their own unique bodies. |
