Thank you very much ! That link is very good.
What kind a dr. should I see for the cervical spondylosis ? My family dr. sent me for an x ray of my neck, bc of the pain in my neck, and my neurologist wants me to have neck and head mri after that, I asked for it also, ( waiting for insurance approval ) bc of the headahes and lightheadedness I have also. |

I would imagine orthopedic but maybe other members would have a better idea. Have you checked spinal forum for cervical spondylosis?
There is something called cervical vertigo. I'm not sure if your dizzy feeling is like vertigo. I only know about it because I have vertigo post concussions and I remembered seeing it on a vestibular website. http://vestibular.org/cervicogenic-dizziness p.s. as you're already seeing a Neurologist, I'd wait for the results of tests to come back and see what he/she has to say. My eye dr. and my rheumatologist don't have a clue, why bending my neck causes me blurry vision ?? They don't think cervical spondylosis can do that ( I do ! ). I'm so dissapointed in all the doctrors I see, none of them seem to want to connect all my symptoms, and at least suggest something. I'm still waiting for a neck and head MRI approval, maybe if I can have that they will see something and my neurologist will know more to tell me.That's going to be a while though.

My insurance didn't approve the neck MRI, they want me to have 6 weeks physical therapy. But when I bend my neck down my vision gets blurry and it feels like my eyes go from side to side ( been to eye dr. eyes are ok ), so I'm afraid with PT it will become worse. I just found cervical nystagmus on the internet, it sounds like my symptoms. Should I see an ENT also ? I saw one 3-4 years ago for a different kind of dizziness, had tests, they said it wasn't inner ear related.
My neurologist sent me for MRI ( I will have brain MRI ,insurance approved that one, but not the neck MRI ). |

Sorry it's all taking so long for you to find answers.
It's a pity you couldn't have the neck MRI considering your symptoms. Why the brain MRI did the neuro say?? ENT would be helpful if you only were experiencing feeling dizzy but I'm not sure what I'd do in your situation esp. as your eyes are affected like that. I'd maybe leave that until the brain MRI is done. ![]() Hang on there. Hopefully you'll find some answers fast. |
