The symptoms vary quite a bit. Not all children or adults with ADHD are actually "hyperactive" or "impulsive".
As I see it, if the child is experiencing some type of difficulties in the classroom setting or at home then getting to the bottom of the problem will only be in the best interest of the child in the longterm. I would guess that's why school is organizing the Connor's Test. There are also a number of other conditions which may cause children to have attention difficulties. http://psychcentral.com/lib/symptoms...adhd/0001200/2 Inattentive type ADHD from Symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) By John M. Some of those might help explain a little more for you as well. Useful Sites Last edited by Lara; 11-27-2013 at 03:42 PM. |
