It would be great if we had a matrix to compare and contrast the many various diets used to treat various autoimmune disease.
There is the Best Bet Diet for MS Quote:
The Swank Diet for MS. http://www.wendys-ms-site.com/swank.html For Celiac Disease the treatment is Gluten Free diet, although about 50% of those with Celiac Disease also have a casein sensitivity. The Specific Carbohydrate Diet for treating Celiac Disease, Crohn's Disease, Autism, Siezures, and more. http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.i.../beginners.htm The Makers Diet (Chemar, is there an online source outlining the dietary principles here?) Rheumatoid arthritis and diet~ http://www.paleodiet.com/ra/ Are there others? Here is a good recipe site with Paleo Diet recipes and information. http://paleofood.com/ http://www.paleodiet.com/ It would just be interesting to compare and contrast these diets. I think I have seen a matrix doing so, but can't remember where. There are isolated reports of gluten free and/or other dietary changes making a difference in the course of some autoimmune disease..so it is worth considering why these various diets seem to work for at least some with autoimmune disease. You can find some mentioned in the Other Autoimmune Disease section of The Gluten File. Any other diets??? Cara Don't know why this shows in all bold letters, because it doesn't while I'm in edit...sorry!
