I wish I had the future you speak of...I do have a future but my reality of having RSD shows me hourly that my future is going to be filled with much pain.

Imagine being left outside in a blizzard so long that you are battling a bit of frost bite... then being let in to a HOT shower. That tingling, burning, intense pain feeling you get from this... Well, that is how I feel every second of my life.

Sometimes I put my pain as imagine being doused in lighter fluid and set on fire...

or smashing your thumb with a hammer -- that instant severe pain but it never calms down or goes away....

or imagine a severe sunburn and your clothes feel like a heavy grit sand paper being rubbed against your skin....

I'm not complaining... just knowing this is my reality as there is no cure for RSD. I am allergic to pain killers and the other medicines that are used for RSD barely take the edge off.

Plus learning to deal with the bipolar mind... depression, severe anxiety, ptsd, and continuing suicidal thoughts....

How do I keep on keeping on??!!?? I really don't know.

Abbie you are a yellow tulip many days.
And I can see it blossoming.

Sometimes I see the red rose in your heart come out.
I know that if I need research all I have to do is ask.

I also hear many words of encouragement, see many words of welcome,
and I watch the welcome threads because I know you are there saying
hi.

This is one of the only forum's taht is so welcoming. And its so nice
to see the friendly threads.

It would be so much nicer to be able to know on a given day you have
less pain. Thats my wish and hope for you.
