Default Feeling pretty good today, how are you?

I feel pretty decently today, like I got a lot of things to be happy for. A friend is giving me her copy of (box w/the headphones headset it came with, everything it came with in the box as a matter of fact) Dragon Naturally Speaking Standard, which goes for about $100. We've also had some cool things fall into our laps. Starting with that trike I got Jackie this June, I am so proud of that. We got a nice desk chair that needed a little repairing, high back executive chair with one spot it was ripped-the cloth cover was ripped.

We got a desk another moving neighbor gave away for free, had to be about a hundred dollar desk that was ACROSS the street and had a big FREE sign on it. We got a Basketball hoop the expenisive kind like two years ago after we moved here. Someone had it with a big FREE sign on it. The kind with a big sand base and nice street legal basketall hoop. Jackie loves it. But it's all disassembled and put away in the garage, it's for when we move.

We'll be moving into a house someday and we need to work on making that happen. The past garbage day last thursday our neighbor was pitching two tool chest of drawers and they are in fantastic shape, Jack painted them red with spray paint and they look new. I am really excited with how things just keep falling into our laps. It's really awesome. I hope things are going that well with all of you, I know some of you are having a hard time with life right now, but just know it CAN go right, just hang in there and it will get better. I firmly believe that.

Pam

Fantastic mood. Keep thinking that way.

And remember if you don't get moved soon, that basketball hoop thingy
can always be moved too.

I have a VERY VERY short fuse today!!!!!!!

I have cursed out other drivers...

Honked my horn way too much..
.
Threatened my nieces---for many reasons.
(they are 19 & 21 but acting 10 & 12)

Was very impatient with my Pdoc--he caught on too.
(He changed my meds around... again)

I am completely tired but still can't get any rest.

All of this and in actuality...I DON'T CARE.

I hope everyone has a better day...

Abbie

Hi Pam, I'm glad things are going well for you.

Abbie, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

I had a bad day today after driving a lot today with little results from it.

I had a nice day had a late breakfast with a friend. Working on her son's IEP. And my health just seems to be doing pretty good. Tomorrow I need to go get my grandson. ITs time for grandma and grandson time.

Heart

my hubby is out of town until sunday afternoon.
I usually don't do well while he is gone.....
had to get up at 5;30 this morning which is a record for me....
thinking about going back to bed but should take a shower instead and start my day early. roads were so quiet this morning. I have already had cantelope, peach, and 2 cups of coffee so I think I am awake.
I know that some of you get up early on a regular basis.
I am not a morning person, never have been my whole life.
I am usually running to get ready now have all of this time...maybe I could go back to bed for a rest.....my kitten is playing with my bath mat she likes to hear the suction cups pop! lol all of them are so different.
I hope you have a good day.

I really am sorry you had a bad day Abbie. I hope it gets better. I hate days like that where it seems like nothing goes right.

I am sorry your on your own til Sunday Beth, I hope we can help by being here for you to vent to, it will fly by you watch!

Wow, a lot of driving for nothing Barbara? That's too bad with the cost of gas these days you really can't afford it and no one really can for no results. Hope today is better for you.

I hope you're having a good day Mari, I know you're having some rough days with the move and all, I hope it gets better soon.

As for us we're baking a cake today for the big boy and he's got speech. His therapist is making th is killer laminated sheet t hing to take bnack and forth to school for Jackie to cirle the things he did at school to help us make conversation about his day. She hopes to get him conversating soon. And we both just love her, her energy is awesome and she inspires Jackie. This sheet has:

Storytime, Computer Time, Reading CLass, Math Class, Art, PE Class, Library, Music Class, Lunch, WAtch movie, Snack, Writing, Crush Cans, Clean Up, Morning Work, & Playground

So you can see it's really gonna break his day down and help us to see into his day. It's gonna have a dry erase pen connected to it and he'll circle stuff while he's at school so we can see when he gets home what his day was like. I am really excited about it. I hope we get this sheet made up over the weekend, I am really hopeful that she's gonna help my son overcome a lot of his verbal challenges, I mean so far it's awesome the results we've seen.
