Hi,

I have noticed the nights have started getting darker earlier.
And I think that the summer rains have let up.


A few hours ago my cold stopped being noisy.
My head has started to clear too.
My face will still look raw tomorrow.


My friend is performing with the American Legion band on Saturday night. I told her I would go.

The city for the 2016 Olympics will be announced tomorrow.
I wonder if Chicago will win.

How is everyone else?

no plans, nor plans to make plans for this weekend.

i didn't manage to finish up my application much less submit it by my self-imposed deadline of today (it is now past end of business day). i would like to get on that but also feel ok not rushing it now, because i realize, while, i said i could get myself together for just an interview, i am not so sure now. i might not come off as very on top of things.

my mother might ask me to go out to help with groceries tomorrow. argh. well i do not want to go anywhere tomorrow. i have been drowned in birthday things and i want to think about and do other stuff than worry about FOOD, participation etc. i just want to stay home and do what i can do - if that just be SLEEP like today, FINE.

sleep heals.

a friend of mine tried to encourage me to get outside and sing in the park he gets how hard just getting out is for me, much less singing there. it's a flat, open park - no sheltered niche under some shady tree in some discreet corner - no discreet anyplace!

plus ironically, if i did that, my parents would erroneously assume i was "all better."

so those are my UNplans.

i hope the rest of you have more fun weekends. the band thing sounds like it might be fun, Mari.

Ugh. Monday is my test, but ugh, just to get through this all.

Hi,

Full Moon (2:10 a.m. EDT) late night Oct 3 /early morning Oct 4 (U S East Coast time).

I love the moon. I have better view of it now that we moved -- not so many buildings / trees blocking the view.

I'm in better spirits today but still not quiet feeling good physically.

Bobby called me back last night cause I was bored and wanted someone to talk to. I can't believe how much he does for me or why.

I'm glad you saw the moon!

After the concert my friend and I went to the beach.
It was a lovely night.


But I'm depressed.
I wonder if the cold I'm still fighting is causing mood problems.
In addition, the music (and I know this is weird) made me sad -- music does this to me.
I need to simply stay home holed up in my little space on the weekends so I can recharge for work on Mondays.
