she dealt me 3 cards, one of them was the death card....which stood for change, I don't remember what the other two cards were...it was very pleasant and casual.
my girl friend made us gris gris bags where we put together 7 different herbs , this was a protection gris gris(spell).then we picked out symbols and read what they might mean for us...ruins or something like that. we tried a wegee board, I know that is not how it is spelled....which we just sat there and watched it NOT move for a very long time and gave up.....lots of good food and laughs and even a new client for me. Drank mango martinis and ate too much food. 4 blocks from home so that was easy making my way back. Had a great time.....

yummy!
I am baking at cafe world at face book a new game that I started a few days ago...something to distract me from work...sigh

Well, Popey's won out for everyone! I had the spicy chick, white meat, beans and coleslaw. SO yummy. Allentown is just over an hour on the Turnpike to get there, in the pouring rain. Right next door was a new, Philly soft pretzle and we brough home 25 of them. I froze a ton.

Thanks waves, I sold a few winter scenes, barran trees coated in snow, looked black and white, and one from Florida and Niagara Falls. There is a covered bridge someone called about. It has to hang at the show, but then I can sell it. DS wanted to buy it, but I will print one and get a nice frame for Christmas for him. It has rail road tracks along side of it and he is crazy about it,

I got some nice picts this week too down south during an assignment in PA. A General Store, wine tasting.. Stopped for the Pork BBQ and relaxing day with husband. Left all the worries and frets behind for the day.

Today I do need to get laundry done DH broke out in horrible rash, I thought was poisin oak, but it is spreading. Raised welts and scabbing up his neck, to the side of the face, along chest, back and arms, underwear lines?????

I am going to run out and find some kind of sensitive skin .
I wonder if it could be Borax. but I do not put that in anything but work jeans and socks....No, The newest thing I bought was ALL and Downey with Lavender????
I lack so much enregy, I am going to have to do just two loads, leave jeans and bedding until tomorrow.

Bizi, I started cafe world and keep the points coming in for Katie to do decorating, She has a lot to work with now, but is still building. Added a new worker today, I am looking for the soon to come designs....just generic nice floor and yellow walls right now.
It is interesting. Katie told me she had a game called Dinner Dash, more like waitressing, and cost money to do....so I like that she enjoys spending my coins on cafe world, lol.

COOL will be trying that one out.
The guy that developed the patent for glow sticks lived in the town I was a police chief for and had given me a lot of different types.
Grandson just lovves them.

My kids were happy when they got one at Hershey Park or Halloween the Fire trucks gave them out.Nooooo dgs has them near nightly, not one but as many as he can find and buy.

Had a great time at the Science and industry museum and Navy Pier.

And Chicago just rained and rained. Ugh hate all the rain.

Red face i am really uptight

the condo administrator is coming (and maybe some technicians too, i don't know) to discuss apartment stuff. i could go hide in my parents' bedroom but i feel like i should start keeping informed on this stuff... my parents are elderly... i know that is a scary thought.

but besides that i just don't want to see any one, much less have them come into my hole. nor do i want to be clearing up (= hiding things!) but i did most of it already, a bit at a time.

i just have to put my worn-but-not-dirty clothes away which are strewn on the armchair. then put up the fold up bed. then get dressed/presentable.

my dad hijacked the bathroom when i was planning on having a shower.

it will be too rushed for me now to have one. so i will have to put my hair up as usual but i still feel scrummy about it. i am to the point where if i had the money, i would face the embarrassment of going to a hairdresser and having them wash it. it is too problematic with our plumbing set up to do here if not under the shower.

i just had an anxiety attack trying to ask/describe to my mother about the possibility of getting one of those flexible cord, shower attachment thingies for the sink. or the tub. but neither of us think they will screw into our type of fixtures.

ok anyway... clothes off chair, fold bed, presentable.

not a good day.

but i don't care who's still here at 6.30pm i am going to watch Angel and that's that. i guess fantasy heroes are all i have left to cling to. I like how they made Cordelia evolve in that series, from the queen b---- she was in Buffy.

Bizi... I'm not sure how long it lasts... I watched a friend do it but they didn't stay long after and they took the bottle with them.

Unhappy welll...

it sucked

i drank before

the meeting unbeknownst to my parents was moved so returning late i didn't find them at home.

i went to an elderly neighbor and spoke with her for some time before going to the meeting at her daughters (she called to advise i was coming).

my mother somehow seemed disgusted with me... i spoke up on something even though it was more regarding general legal condo issue and did not affect us because our situation is isolated (luckily) - but still - big, and difficult thing for me to participate in meeting!

so i was MAD after about her attitude. i refused to eat with them. watched Charmed instead and then ate leftovers out of the pot.

then i went to another bar.... the one that does live music............... except they don't any more.

they haven't for YEARS (they should take it off their dang sign, say i!). but anyway.... i found out why they stopped, too...

.... horrible horrible stupid legal things about performing music... in ANY capacity - in this freakstorm of a cntry.
