Ah waves, tonight is over a new day tomorrow,
There are several types of replacement shower heads with handles, and even some for the sick or bath nozzle to use for shampooing hair.
I would look on line and print a picture from a hardware site. Go to a store and let them explain what may work on the shower head. I know my metal one is very heavy and akward, but the rubbery one over a sink nozzle worked good. It was cheap too...

If all else fails in a quick make do I use the kitchen sink and a pitcher of water to dump.
My hair is getting a bit long for that, it is near my waist, thin and long....
need a haircut.

Hope you feel better,
di

Default hi

thanks for listening Di.

guess i just sound dumb about the anxiety and the no more live music and then my dad about the alcohol / meeting, huh. well it feels cruddy is what.

i will see if there are rubbery fittings for those fixtures here. you'd be surprised what there ISN'T.

i am FORBIDDEN to use the kitchen sink for hair washing, and the overall problem is that my hair IS quite long. and not by accident.

Red face

I have been trying to grow out my hair and let it be straight...I have had perms so long now....I forget what it is like to have straight hair. there is only 2 inches left of the perm so maybe by next year all of the perm will be gone.
anyway, my hair is dyed red and always lose alot during showers and in my hair brush, it is thin and fine, the coloring gives it some body though.
I actually took the time to curl it before the symphony concert yesterday and it looked good for a change. Black velvet with chocolate pearls and high heels no less.
It takes me forever to get dressed up like that....I am used to wearing scrubs all day. I am fortunate, I don't know if I could ever have to dress up every day....I have a hard enough time on the weekends what to wear.
I know that sounds stupid but it is true...i have a hard time getting dressed on the weekends, I don't have a lot of clothes.
anyway. I am most comfortable in scrubs. Jsut recently started having the pants laundred/starched and pressed, I look so much more professional that way.
I even wear scrubs to my art classes, I stay in them all day.
Did I tell you that we are in to halloween? Jeff finished making the coffin I may hide in it to scare the kids....don't know yet.
my last water color class is tomorrow. I should paint something to bring to class....I will bring in what I painted 10 years ago in arizona when I first took a class. love the piece and am going to have it framed...i think.
My second art class is taught by a woman who has lost her hands and feeet to an infection...she is amazing! and a great teacher.

I am taking a cruise with one of my best friends over the christmas break. It is exciting to be going somewhere different.
Jeff doesn't like cruises...he doesn't want to go.
Even with our mild winters I get cold here so it will be nice being in the tropics using sunscreen. We leave right out of new orleans so it is very convenient. Travel to Belieze, honduras, and cozemel, so I am researching these countries for fun things to do. We have booked shore excursions for all 3 countries. Cave crawling, zip gliding, repelling from a cliff, kayaking, hiking, dune buggy to an old mayan ruins, snorkeling in clear waters. It all sounds like fun. I hope it doesn't kill us, we may be so tired that we go back to the cabin for room service and hit the hay!
This will be a challenge for me, just being able to do the trip, awaiting pass ports, need to pre register, knowing what to do and where to go, I am glad my friend will be with me.
I was going to go alone....but all of the retreats looked complicated and the spas were soooo expensive...so a cruise sounded perfect. and it was twice the money if I cruised alone, they sell the rooms! so a single person pays full room price. so I thought great let me bring chere!
well I had better sign off.....thank you for endulging my ramblings....

Dear Waves,

That stinks about the bar /s being without music . . . some kind of new building code-type thing?

. . . weird that she got annoyed about something.

Perhaps they are not used to seeing you outside with other people.

it will be too rushed for me now to have one. so i will have to put my hair up as usual but i still feel scrummy about it. i am to the point where if i had the money, i would face the embarrassment of going to a hairdresser and having them wash it. it is too problematic with our plumbing set up to do here if not under the shower.
Is there any chance that you can pay for that?
Since you have lots of good hair I can see how it might have become overwhelming to you to wash it now that you not in a washing hair mode.
In a different world, you would have the right fixtures for your needs.

Dear Beth,
What a beautiful combo!

You'll enjoy the cruise. . . . lots of new people and fun things to do.

My brother and sil went on cruises for years and loved it.
