Im desperated !!! My internet connection is broken... I only have my phone...
This is causing me anxiety !!!! Thank you for your responses... Wish I could write more but as you can imagine, the little keyboard in my phone sucks !!!! And the eye ticks still sucks like hell !!! |
patience...
it will take some time...for the magnesium to have an effect on the tics. give it a week after starting supps and ensure it is a good source (see Mrs D's thread linked earlier). Alternatively, without supplements, drinking 1-2 glasses milk daily is good as it is well absorbed from that AND eat lots of green veggies! The greener the better - Mg found in chlorophyll.

Dear Majo,
I hope your internet connection gets fixed. Yes, the magnesium will help you given some time. My acupuncturist says that, according to Chinese medicine, eye twitching is usually caused by the liver: http://chinesemedicinecure.com/node/774 :) M. |
Hiya Blue!
Remember to get lots of rest, it will help the magnesium take effect faster. Try to relax, watch a movie, take a bath. Find ways to keep your mind off the tic and it won't bother you so much. I get eye twitchs sometimes, they're usually caused by too much stress and not enough sleep, but whatever the cause rest and relaxation are always a good thing. :) Take care  I'm thinking of you ~ Lonely1 |
Hi Blue,
My computer is on death's door, too. It's a minor miracle everytime the thing boots up. It's older than dirt, but there's no way I can afford a new one. So if I disappear suddenly, don't worry that I'm having a crisis or a hissy fit. Technology is great - until it stops working. Good luck |
I am so sorry I haven't been around to support you
Dear Blue, I have been going through a bit of a rough patch myself.
My ability to communicate freezes when I am low. I hope you are better soon. ((((Blue)))) |
eye tics also respond to Omega-3s. There is even a study on
PubMed med recommending them. Quote:
Since people eat enough linoleic acid (omega-6) taking flax oil for the linolenic acid might be helpful. Magnesium helps too. When low typically larger muscles first give symptoms like leg cramps etc. But eye tics can also be a sign of low magnesium as well. |
Im definetely not feeling good
Reading your post helped me to feel less dark this morning  I cant say Im blue, Im dark and frozen... I feel like I could go out running and screaming how much I hate myself, my life and the things Ive done... I hate this crisis I suffer... Like I containMyself 6 days of the week and the 7th, I explode... Still no internet  The tics are progressing... But still... :( I feel so unestable in everyway... Like I dont want to see os listen anybody and guess what, I need to go to school precisly today... Ive taking omega 3 for 2 years now... I cant imagine how my tics would be if I hadnt... Thanks for listening  I really appreciate it. |
I am glad that you have access thru your phone! great that you can still post.
The form of magnesium that is best, from what I have heard is "slow mag" it costs more but is better absorbed, don't know if someone has already suggested this to you or not. I am sorry that you are feeling this way.... you are being hard on yourself again...this is not good. be nice to yourself. we think you are wonderful! (((((HUGS))))) bizi |
I'm sorry you're feeling bad, Blue.
That unstable feeling is the worst. :( I have no medicinal advice for you, but at the very least I can let you know you're not alone. We seem to have some very similar problems. I spend a lot of time wanting to be alone and away from people, and yet I'm lonely all the time too...... hmmmmm. Can't there be some happy medium? I hope your internet returns soon, if only to make things more conviniant for you. I hope you feel better soon, here are some 's to tide you over 'til then.    Take care ~ Lonely1 |
