Hi Dmom3005 Yes. The airports are closed up in Charlottesville,Va. They are going to plow it around the clock according to the news. I'm happy that my power is still on.

This paints a picture in itself! Your poor little car! I too would love to see pix but only if you can get them safely. I assume you have snowshoes and stuff.

I would love to see pix if you have them. You can see a pic of the view from my balcony - in my sig. the pic was taken last year, but it looks just like that again now, and has for a few days.

We're in baking Christmas cookies and watching it snow, snow, snow. I wish I could send you all a gingerbread Santa.

Cheers

Dear Hockey,

That sounds great. I'm glad that you are warm.
Some people use the gingerbread for tree decorations.
Are you making gifts?

Good luck with the snow. It is pretty if you are safe inside.

Hi Mari,

Hmmm... I don't know if we could give these cookies to anyone but our most understanding (like you guys) or sugar-addicted friends as my daughter is VERY liberal with the icing and sprinkles.

The only tree you could hang them on, without toppling it, is in Rockerfeller Square because by the time she's done decorating, each cookie weighs in at just under five pounds.

Cheers

Dear Hockey,

Ahh. That sounds wonderful.
She sounds like a sweet heart and she sounds like she is great to share kitchen space with.

Take care Steve! So glad you have enough provisions to keep yourself situated for awhile until this blows over. I hope you get to keep your power through it too. Just know if the power goes out we're here thinking of you and sending good vibes your way.

We are getting sprinkles and things here too. Not to bad yet though.

I'm really hoping it doesn't get bad this week. We are having my older
son's for christmas, which should be good because they live right here
in town.

But then on the 26th we are going to my mother's which if it snows its
going to be hard to go.
