Default Just need to vent

I don't know how much of this is being on my low pole and how much is just stress.

My husband is an idiot! He broke his hip a month ago and the pain pills have made him extra dumb. Today he left a message for someone to call him. He gave them the wrong phone number. Half the time he doesn't know his address. UGH!

My mom is in assisted living and probably will have to go to a nursine home soon. She has assets so it will cost $6000/month. Any hope of an inheritance goes out the window with that. Everyday the poor woman begs to die.

And, we are having financial problems.

I feel like kicking the dog and throwing something through the window. Normally I am pretty calm but I've just had ENOUGH crap these past few months!!

I am soooo frustrated.

Red face

well, you certainly have enough stress on your plate.
I am sorry that you are feeling frustrated, it sounds like this is a normal reaction for what you have described.
maybe there is something wrong with hubby, has he seen a neuro guy? is that normal for him?
The costs of nursing home care is rediculous....there must be cheaper ones out there, maybe in a neighboring city?
((((HUGS)))))

HI,
If throwing something through the window helps, go ahead. It might be worth it.
You have two care taking responsibilities. That is huge.
I hope your husband gets better, your mother gets carefully situated, and I hope you find some peace and a way to restore / nurture yourself.

Regarding phone numbers: I don't know mine either. I've started making up numbers when a business or something is asking for a number.

Default Thanks

Hi

Thanks for not judging me for venting. The past several years have been so hard! My beautiful 38 year old stepdaughter took her life Christmas 2003, I had two failed back surgeries in 2005, I developed chronice pain (RSD), now my mom and husband are ailing and of course I am bipolar. AAAGH! Sometimes it seems to much to bear and I just want to join my sweet stepdaughter in oblivion. I'm also a recovering alcoholic with 22 years of sobriety.

I'm really hoping there is nothing serious wrong with my husband that caused his osteoporosis that caused his hip to breake when he fell. Possible causes are taking Nexium for heartburn, cancer, gluten intolerance. We probably won't fimd out the results of his tests until late next week. His doc only works Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Coach

I would like to add one thing! If he has to start taking nexium, it
was a fantastic drug for me. I even at one point started taking
less than prescribed. But after my surgery for gall bladder last
year. Came completely off it.

Default Nexium

Nexium weakens the bones and can cause osteoporosis. All other proton pump inhibiters do the same thing. (Prevacid, Acifex, etc)
