Smile FUll Moon at 2:00 am Monday

HI,

My girlfriend and I went for a walk on the board walk at the beach and stopped at an open air greek restaurant for salads under the full moon.
The temperature was warm -- no need for sweaters or jackets.
The night was beautiful.

We went for a lovely walk around 9pm after dinner and looked up at that same full moon and I wonder how many of us would be looking up at the full moon connecting us in a magical way.

I was driving South on a route in my state on Thursday at sunset. There where beautiful oranges, pinks, and reds in the South Western sunset area. I was so thrilled to see that color show. I was thinking that this is brought to us Free of charge. BF

the moon was full at 8:30 AM here, monday morning.

so i looked at it sunday evening almost there, and then monday evening about 7 when it was already dark. i was 12 hours off. unavoidable. couldn't see it at 8:30 AM. might have been on the other side of the house, but i was busy falling back asleep after my Zoloft.

I am glad you all enjoyed the moon. i wondered about posting something about it, or if Mari might. (heh! guessed that right!) I too thought of you all as i looked at it, even though the times were not synced up real well. it is the same magical moon.

Steve, thank you for sharing your sunset drive experience with us. it sounds breathtaking. and yes, these gifts are free.

We have lucked out with winter during December. Since the foot of snow we had before Halloween, there has not been much. That may change tonight. We had terrible rain and wind last night, but now the midwest snow is coming. By Monday I think it is the temps go single digit.
How I wish for a 12 hr 80* day!

How about the 15 feet of snow in Alaska. I can't immagine how bad that would be. We would have houses, and buildings caving in,side roads blocked, electric poles down all over the place. No communication.

Those poor people up there. I thought that the 2 Feet of snow that we had 2 years ago was bad,but I cannot imagine 15 feet. The national guard that are helping them probably have sore backs, and legs. They are probably exhausted. I wonder how long it's going to take for the people to recover from this. It may shorten life spans for some of the people who where hardest hit.

There might be some people in the remote areas of Alaska who are completely barried with snow. Their houses, cars, and roads may be unpassable. Totally marooned, crying, and freezing. BF

Dear Friend,

I did not see the Alaska story. i can hope for the people in those areas that they are more likely to be prepared for this sort of thing than people in other parts of the country. I hope that FEMA, the national guard, and good services get to them quickly.

Red face

it's still pretty tame here, but they are expecting things to become more "real winter-like" next week... just in time for my pdoc appointment and stress test... oh joy.

time to really break out those fluffy woolen scarves, sweaters etc i guess... i've been wearing mostly the same thing... everything is such a jumble i still don't feel like doing a wardrobe change..... there's no real way to divvy it up.

sorry if i am being mundane. that is about all i can handle right now.

.................
i don't have the emotional wherewithall to steep myself in considerations of natural disasters right now - way overwhelming - i really can't go there. blessings to those of you who can and apologies for my non participation.
