thanks so much for your kind words of concern. i am fine - at least, i am safe, and for the most part warm enough. i do not expect to be found ice-fossilized like sqrat in the next ice-age melt down.  Dear Donna, i am glad most of the kids were ok. i hope the ones that had to go to hospital were ok also. thank you also for your concern. WEll I hope every one is safe from harsh weather.
Lots of tornados doing damage and taking lives. More storms tomorrrow. It is supposed to be 41 tomorrow night, it has been 80 for the past 3 days. bizi

We had a bad thunderstorm a couple of nights ago. My cat stayed in the kitchen away from all of the windows for the rest of the evening.
We had a thunderstorm earlier in the late afternoon. Now the forecast is for thunderstorms to move in here after 1 AM. No lightning yet. These late winter thunderstorms Boom Boom Boom Boooooom!!! OK I'm seeing it start to show lightning in the West sky. Now I'm hearing it for real. It amazing. Just when I started to write this message down,there was no lightning. It's coming in right now. BF

It's come,and gone. I can feel the humidity in the air. I guess that we are going to have thunderstorms off,and on until the Post Meridiem. I like AM,and PM. I don't like military time. BF

oh geez!
 never seen hail anywhere close to that size before!however... having been hit in the face with a fast-flying softball before (and i daresay softball is a misnomer!) ... yes, i can pretty well imagine.... i hope nobody did get hit on their person.
