Loy's of trees and wires down. I still have power, the winds are reduced but still strong and gusting. Exhausted staying on watch. Hope everyone else is okay, I see the storm is working into Detroit, Buffalo where my step daughter is.

Crossing my fingers to keep pew on as they repair around me. Everyone be safe and prayers for those getting hit so hard now.

Dear Di,

This is exhausting and stressful. I am happy to hear that you and your family made it.

Getting updates

My little brother in New England and his family are fine. They have a big tree down in the yard.
Reports of cousins on Long Island and in Philly are trickling in. People are O.K. One is without power but went to another family member's place.

I am glad that this storm is over. I hope that people who are waiting to get help have the support that they need.

Hey DiMarie. You probably got the storm. Please let us know how things are going when you can.

Hey Bobby. Are you OK? What's happening there? Please let us know when you can. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I took a walk this morning and saw a couple of trees down and branches, big branches down. I don't know when transportation will be restored. I guess they didn't hype this storm. I tried to call my friend in upstate ny but she didn't answer and her answering machine didn't kick in. I hope it is just electricity. I had the radio and tv on so much lately that i refuse to turn it on today. I don't know how long it will take to get transportation back. a lot of people were out walking today. starbucks and dunkin donuts were closed.

Heart Broken about the Storm

Hi,

Tonight I watched some of the last three nights of Rachel Maddow that I had recorded.
I learned that these four states are a big mess:

1. New Jersey -- the whole state -- students are home from school this entire week
2. New York City and Long Island -- subways are flooded so commuting cannot resume -- also, many people are not back in their homes yet
3. Connecticut -- authorities need 48 hours to make an estimate about when electricity will be back -- mayde 10 or more days.
4. West Virginia --- the heavy rain turned into wet snow

I send prayers of guidance for the leaders who are helping people in these and other hard hit places.

M
