Thanks M. Bear. I think my PTSD is up and down, but I am dealing with it the best I can, all I can do really. I wish I could lock him up (my husband) and throw away the key, on some Island in the South Pacific.

Have a wonderful time in Las Vegas, Enjoy!!!!!

Hugs, Nikko

Yep, the martyr in you is peeking out! So are your excellent parenting skills. It takes a strong woman to put her needs, sense of safety, and security on hold to try and do what is best for her children. I think what you need to recognise is that it is probably not doing them alot of good to see their out of control father seemingly control their mother with his bad behavior. You are not withholding the kids from him; you are just not doing the work to maintain the father/sons relationship for the asshat anymore. That is his job. Good job to you AND your husband for setting boundaries! No one deserves to be treated with disrespect in their own home! Home is supposed to be a safe place; for everyone who resides in it. I would also add that he is to only call work if it is an actual emergency having to do with the children; and that if he calls your job again you will be forced to only accepts messages taken from whoever answers the phone because you are not going to allow him to control your ability to do your job.

Have a great time in Vegas honey! You deserve it! (Im going in May and I cant WAIT! Hyper is also going next month with her hubby! Vegas is a tiny slice of heaven!! )
