What are your plans and how is your weather? I hope to get housework done this weekend and cook. I also plan on walking to the local bar for exercise. Today it is raining rather hard so it doesn't look like I'll get much outside today. My bf will be going to out of town this weekend to help his sons work on their Harleys.

I believe I forgot to tell everyone that my husband has a temporary
two month job working in his field. So to top this off it could be
10 or 12 hours a day. Maybe at times 7 days a week.

Wow we can put some money away maybe. And it will help lots with
our insurance.

I watched Butler win their game last night. Tonight we are hoping
that Purdue wins their game.

Go teams.

Default hi folks!

just stopping by...

Donna, that is fantastic news about your husband's job, i'm really happy for you guys! btw, i have never had Cracker Barrel - other than that brand of cheddar cheese (if that's anything to go by... yummmmmmmmm! )

Barbara, you sound like you are keeping your spirits up and being pretty productive... good going!

Beth, how was your theater outing? That is great news that you are done with PT and yeah.. first times at the gym one tends to be a wreck but it will get better. Good for you for joining. I sooo need exercise *groan*

((( everyone )))

Hi Waves, how are you? That Cracker Barrel cheese is awesome isn't it?

Cocky did not go out of town after all. Him and I spent the night together and I washed clothes over his house this morning. Been playing with my music after that.

i'm doing ok-ish... thanks for asking. i'm in a bit of an existential crisis between trying to get back to my programming project in C# and singing. the first i need for practical reasons but am feeling down about it, the second i need for spiritual reasons, but literally do not adequate place/space/situation to practice regularly (spring allergies are not helping, either). then today i started thinking what the heck am i doing programming i need to be looking at music more seriously. but who am i kidding i'm not 20 any more... performing arts? yearrrright. but but but but... sigh.

step one, i am thinking of looking for a choir. ANY choir. someplace where they will let me open my mouth and ... howl... or whatever. so i can retrain my voice. it's been 2 years now since i quit smoking completely, have regained a lot of vocal range now, but i'm still totally out of practice.

since i need a job and that ain't ever gonna change, i need to get back to coding on my project. I started a couple weeks ago, with the intent of just doing a bit a day but i ended up working on it almost non-stop for several days. eat, code, sleep, code, watch 1 hr tv, code, eat more, code etc etc etc... wake up with ideas in the middle of the night... code. (that is what i was so busy with last week!) then, i had an exchange with a friend on general design considerations and somehow got down on myself even though my friend did not criticize what i was doing at all. then i put things down.

i think, i need to put blinders on and just put my hands in it again, maybe limiting myself to the 1 hour daily. i also need to avoid considering the results, how fast i am or how good it is overall. the point is only to learn the stupid language, period, not win a contest of any sort.

i am glad you got to spend time with Cocky after all. It sounds like you had a good weekend.

And that cheese, oh yes... the Vermont Sharp White was my favorite, but they were all good!
